What this is about
These terms apply to the use of the website cape-town-safari.com. Cape Town Safari is an independent guide to safaris within reach of Cape Town: day trips and overnight stays in the Big Five reserves of the Western Cape, longer safaris along the Garden Route, how to reach Kruger National Park, and the Marine Big 5 boat trip from Gansbaai. We do not sell tours, transfers or lodge stays ourselves, we do not run any reserve, and we are not a tour operator.
Who sells your tour
If you book a tour through one of our links, you enter into the contract on the website of GetYourGuide or Viator with that platform or with the respective tour operator. Their terms and conditions apply. They are responsible for the tour, payments, rebookings, and cancellations, not we.
Prices and availability
Prices on this website are starting prices and are for orientation only. If you convert them into another currency, we use reference rates from the European Central Bank; the result is an approximate value. Only the price and availability shown by GetYourGuide or Viator before booking are binding.
Wildlife, Roads and Weather
Wild animals cannot be ordered: which species you see on a game drive or a boat trip depends on the season, the weather and the animals themselves, and no reserve or operator can promise a sighting. Reserves set their own rules for children, activities and visitors, and these can change. Long road journeys can run late, and the monthly climate figures we show are long-term averages, not a forecast. Health advice, such as on malaria, comes from the official bodies we cite and does not replace a doctor. Which reserve, transport and inclusions you get is set by the listing you book and by its operator, so read its details before you pay.
